Essential question

How does exploring our roots and sharing our story empower us?

A little more about the project:

In this project students would be creating "Identitrees". In order to create these students needed to look into their roots, this could be their culture, their family history, or even just the city they lived in. During the project student got to learn about the land they lived on and the Kumeyaay tribe the lived on this land.

Identitrees

It was fun seeing students share their roots! each tree shows some of what these students are all about! one side is designed how the student wants, while the other sides shows things like their culture, their hobbies, and their favorite things!
